Holiday Jazz Set: Braden Urevick & Hannah Hooper

Guitarist Braden Urevick and vocalist Hannah Hooper first met thanks to the wonderful bluegrass ensemble at Centre College in Kentucky. After touring together in Europe (mainly through rural Sweden) in January 2020, Braden and Hannah knew they were gonna be best buds for life. Unfortunately, things like a global pandemic, geographical locations, and the steady march of the capitalist machine impeded their musical collaboration—until now!

On Tuesday, Dec 16th, Braden and Hannah reunite with vocals and electric guitar to bring you Bummer Xmas, a jazzy, holiday-themed set of mostly sad songs. Tired of ho-ho-ho and deck them halls and all that stuff? Come sit back with a glass of wine and get nice and bummed out with us this holiday season! <3

Collective Impact Workshop w/ Donna Otmani

There is so much happening in the world right now. And it needs us to show up—more than ever. But with the constant flood of devastating and destabilizing news, it’s easy to feel exhausted, heartbroken, or unsure where to start.

Here’s the truth: change doesn’t happen if we’re shut down.
Change happens when we rise.
And to rise, we must be resourced.

This workshop is about fueling the part of you that refuses to give up—the part that knows your voice, your choices, and your actions matter—especially now.

Together, we’ll:
✨ Learn how to stay grounded and steady, even when the world feels chaotic.
✨ Replenish yourself physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually so you don’t burn out.
✨ Identify aligned, meaningful ways you can take action for the causes and communities you care about.
✨ Engage in live, collective activism right there in the space—and feel the surge of power that comes when we take action together.

You’ll leave not only more resourced, but already activated—having taken real steps in service of justice, freedom, and dignity.

This is for those who are tired of doom-scrolling, weary of the weight, and ready to transform helplessness into action.

EVENT DETAILS:

📅 Thursday, September 18th
⏰ Arrive by 6:45pm | Class runs from 7–9pm
🎟️ This is a complimentary event, and we’re excited to welcome you!
Please note: everyone is required to purchase two drinks while at Saturn Road to help honor and support the space.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
This is a live, in-person gathering with limited capacity. Don’t miss your chance to come together, get resourced, and take action—reserve your seat today.
