Saturn Road is committed to making saturnroad.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology.

Our commitment

We want every guest to be able to find our hours, menu, events, and location, and to get in touch with us, whether they visit in person or online. We are working to improve the accessibility of our website and to apply the relevant accessibility standards as we do.

Standards we follow

Our goal is for saturnroad.com to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This standard is the shared foundation for the following requirements:

  • Federal Section 508. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act sets accessibility requirements for digital content, built on WCAG Level AA. We use these guidelines as a benchmark for our site.

  • Colorado. Colorado has adopted WCAG 2.1 Level AA as its digital accessibility standard. We use it as the baseline for testing our site.

  • New York. We aim to meet the accessibility obligations that apply to businesses under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), New York State law, and the New York City Human Rights Law.

Current status

Saturnroad.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This means some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard.

We are actively working with accessibility consultant Clint Grounds of CGDA (Clint Grounds Design and Accessibility) to audit our website and fix the barriers we find. We will post an update on our progress on this page by October 31, 2026.

Our ongoing efforts include:

  • A full accessibility audit of every page of the website, using automated tools and manual testing with keyboards and screen readers

  • Fixing identified issues, followed by a second audit to confirm the fixes

  • Reviewing new content for accessibility before it is published

Technical notes

saturnroad.com is built on [Squarespace]. Some features come from third-party providers, such as embedded maps, social media feeds, and online ordering. We do not control these, but we will report barriers we find to those providers and offer other ways to get the same information.

The site is designed to work with current versions of major web browsers and common assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.
